Pursuit of Truth

I believe that currently there is a great spiritual war waging on. Well, I am not going to say we are in the end times, and I never will; I will say we are closer to it than we were yesterday. Speaking from purely personal experience, I believe God is going out for the lost sheep. Not to say He ever stopped, but I believe it is at least more evident now than ever. Just in my own Church, I have noticed a significant increase in younger people attending. Also, take a look at all this new research coming out; it seems like once a month we get earth-shattering evidence that supports the Bible and its accounts. I mainly refer to the Shroud of Turin and the finding of a garden beneath Jesus’ tomb.

No matter what, I believe Christ is gearing up for this war and is gathering as many of us as He can; He is increasing His defenses. He is giving us, the troops, as much firepower (evidence) as we can to stand firm on the front lines. However, no commander of an army increases defenses unless provoked, and trust me, He has been provoked. This world is falling more and more every day. More and more, the lights of this world (the TRUE followers of Christ) are trying to be put out. Satan wants to attack at night, when no one is on guard and while we cannot see. He knows he must execute his plan in darkness so that his evil may be concealed in order to deceive. We are the lights, and he is attacking us.

So, whether the end times are here or not, God and satan are both making their moves. God is lighting a fire to burn out satan’s evil deeds and reveal truth by getting as many followers as possible and by giving them as much ammunition as possible. Whereas satan is trying to manipulate society into thinking truth is relative and there are no objectives in life. Denying truth is denying Christ! He says “I am the way, the TRUTH and the life.” And society more and more is trying to tell us that you can be whatever you want to be and that everyone is right! Trying to tell us that ethics and morals are subjective and debatable. This is denying TRUTH, therefore, denying Christ Himself. And it sounds like a positive thing, to accept what everyone says and let people make their own truth, but this is anti-Christ! Do not be fooled! This is satan working in the shadows! And Christ wants YOU to join His elect to help be part of His body and light.

And to you who are strong in the faith, perhaps you have noticed the attacks on you are getting stronger and stronger (at least they are for me). But stand strong! Take up your cross! Endure! Realize that God has left the 99 to get the 1. To the 99, He left us because He knows we can endure! We will keep our faith! And to the 1, we will hold the lines! We will continue to stand! Come to Christ and find Truth! Understand that there ARE objectives in this world; that you were made with true purpose in mind and are not some cosmic accident. You are valuable!
